OVERVIEW
The Accreditation Consultant /Trainer will play a key role in preparing our organization for the upcoming April 2025 accreditation survey. This position involves delivering training to staff, performing audits, and supporting policy update completion across the clinical programs, ensuring compliance with key quality and safety practices.
Accreditation Consultants will work across various units, provide in-the-moment education and monitor adherence to a variety of safety practices.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Allied Health preferred, additional training in quality and safety standards are an asset.
- Certification in healthcare quality or training is an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years in a clinical or operational healthcare role; experience in training or quality improvement is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively across diverse teams.
- Coaching & Feedback: Skilled in providing constructive, real-time feedback and fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Diligence: Strong observational skills, with the ability to monitor practices and accurately document compliance.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple training sessions across units and tracking data efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Able to work independently and within a team to meet shared goals.
- Good work and attendance record.
