What you’ll do:

The Assistant Bakery/Deli Manager is responsible for assisting the Bakery/Deli Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bakery and deli departments. This includes managing inventory, coordinating product displays, ensuring product quality, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role also involves training and developing staff, handling customer inquiries, and supporting the Bakery/Deli Manager in achieving sales and operational goals.

  • Assists in managing inventory levels, ensuring that products are stocked and available for customers.
  • Coordinates and manages product displays to ensure they are visually appealing and meet merchandising standards.
  • Provides leadership to the bakery and deli team, including goal setting, performance management, training, and development.
  • Ensures prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service is provided at all times.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and:

  • You have a high school diploma (a college degree is strongly preferred).
  • You have 3+ years of relevant customer service experience with 1+ year of leadership experience preferred.
  • You’re familiar with Safe Food Handling and have strong leadership, customer service, and operational management skills.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
