Bilingual Project Coordinator – Capital Markets / Investment Management
This contract role is for our client in the insurance industry, supporting a strategic transformation initiative within the investment operations division. The position is instrumental in modernizing systems and processes across front, middle, and back-office functions in a global financial services environment. Based in Montréal with a hybrid work arrangement, this role requires strong bilingual fluency in English and French to coordinate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders in both languages.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $45 to $55 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $55 to $65 per hour.
• 8-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure milestones are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Communicate project updates and prepare status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain all documentation related to project planning, risk management, and progress tracking.
• Monitor risks and issues, facilitating resolution through coordination with stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative support for documentation, travel arrangements, events, and workshops.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• PMP or Scrum certification is considered an asset.
• 5+ years of project management experience with transformational initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience within capital markets or investment management.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale, global organizations.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Bilingual in English and French to support coordination with teams and stakeholders in both languages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
