Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate data is captured and reported for production planning requirements.
  • Maximize system benefits to meet daily productivity targets by effectively utilizing site resources.
  • Monitor fleet performance and provide real-time adjustments to optimize productivity.
  • Oversee the data collection and utilization for the CAT Terrain Drill System, Hexagon Collision Avoidance System, and Hexagon Fatigue Management System.
  • Ensure reliable data reporting for site operations and maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues and ensure proper functionality of all monitoring systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on fleet performance and productivity.
  • Communicate system performance, potential improvements, and daily production results with key stakeholders.

Education, Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the mining industry, preferably in open-pit operations.
  • Working knowledge of Fleet Management, Machine Health, Collision Avoidance, Fatigue Management, or Terrain for Drilling systems preferred.

Technical Competencies & Skills

  • Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts; on a 7x7 rotation.
  • Strong understanding of mining processes and mine monitoring control systems, particularly in operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory experience in an open-pit operation is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with spreadsheets and database programs.
  • Proven safety and attendance record.

Wages and Benefits

Conuma Resources takes pride in providing industry-competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that truly values our employees. Specifically for the Dispatcher role, we offer an annual base salary range of $105,000 - $115,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses. These bonuses include monthly efficiency bonuses linked to safety and production, quarterly retention bonuses, and a performance bonus tailored to reward your contributions. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.

  • Tumbler Ridge to our Quintette Mine, and Willow Creek Mine 
  • Chetwynd to our Willow Creek Mine
  • Dawson Creek to our Willow Creek Mine and Quintette Mine 
  • Mackenzie to our Willow Creek Mine
