We are currently seeking Electricians for our various remote Canadian project locations!

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical components.
  • Testing circuits and connections using electrical test equipment.
  • Inspecting equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are completed, while adhering to timelines and budget restrictions.
  • Responsible for ordering electrical parts
  • Preparation and site clean-up, including rubbish removal.
  • Proficient with building code regulations as it relates to worksite building electrical assembly and repairs.
  • Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation as per process / protocol to ensure cost effectiveness and budget allocation.
  • Provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Understand the basics of reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and support monthly work-site inspections.
  • Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
  • Notify Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.
  • Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
  • Actively participate as a high performing, team member.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of one (3) year working in a construction field electrician in a camp environment
  • Certified Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) required.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work a rotation schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shift.
