Job Description

Reporting to the Electrical Department Supervisor, the C-licensed electrician in this position will install, repair and maintain electrical and automation systems.

• Maintain property and equipment under his/her jurisdiction in good condition, in accordance with the Quebec Electrical Code;
• Identify, investigate and diagnose equipment failures, irregularities and malfunctions, and apply corrective measures promptly;
• Promote and suggest ways to improve productivity and quality.
• Follow calibration methods and procedures;
• Carry out preventive maintenance, safety items and work required by production for the smooth running of the operation;
• Keep work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• DEP in Electricity;
• C license;  
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing and/or heavy industry;

Additional Information

• Overtime paid at time and a half;
• Full-time, permanent position
