Description

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 Operators to join their safety conscious team at CNRL Albian! You will be responsible for operating and driving various units such as Hydro Vac, Combo Unit & Water Trucks. This is a Union 362 Teamsters position. 14/14 rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Drives, operates and stages units.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections.
  • Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
  • Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
  • Performs roadside repairs as required.


Qualifications
  • Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience;
  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged;
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience;
  • Experience with Hydrovac, Combo Units, and water trucks would be an asset;
  • Experience with a Hose Reel/Sewer Flusher would be an asset;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts, both day and night shift;
  • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
