The Honest Farmer, a division of the Westbow Group of Companies, is a regenerative agriculture farming company dedicated to providing nutrient-dense food while restoring our planet. Our goal is to provide our community with regenerative farmed products from local farms to your kitchen. About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Farmer to join our team! Our ideal Farmer has a deep interest in farming and a solid understanding of farm animal care, feed management, crop production and excited to learn about regenerative farming. You are a natural leader with a “lets get it done” attitude, driving innovative ideas that align with our mission to growing, healthy, nutrient-dense food that nourishes people and restores our planet.

 Hourly Wage Range: $18.00-$40.00/hr.

• Passion for farming and agriculture.
• A versatile, “jack of all trades” approach to farming.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Hard working, with a “get it done” attitude.

What you’ll be doing

• Restoring the Earth: Help us nurture the earth with composting, crop rotation, cover cropping and other regenerative practices.
• Farm Animal Care: ensure animal well-being, providing love and care to ensure aligns with regenerative principles.
• Operating Equipment: Work with tractors, planters and other farm equipment.
• Collaborating with Leadership: assist in refining operational procedures and contributing to business growth ideas.

What we’re looking for

• Deep interest and passion for farming.
• Prior experience working on a farm is an asset.
• Ability to operate farm .
• Prior working experience and knowledge in regenerative farming is a plus.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and contribute to the establishment of business protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
