Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, you’ll have a hands-on role in producing precise designs for power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting, all while collaborating with a growing team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and implementing advanced electrical systems, including power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting, while adhering to OBC, OESC, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Integrating energy-efficient and sustainable practices into all designs.
- Collaborating with mechanical, architectural, structural, and interior design teams.
- Preparing technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conducting site audits and preparing reports on existing conditions and construction progress.
- Reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, and solving design challenges efficiently.
- Maintaining organized design files and ensuring quality control across all deliverables.
- Fostering strong client relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking candidates with a strong background in engineering consulting who are eager to grow in their careers.
Must-Haves:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technologies Certificate.
- 4–7 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with OBC, OESC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
