www.oceansonics.com) is a growing, innovative, Ocean Technology company that is currently looking for a creative, organized, social media savvy Digital Media & Marketing Co-op student
to support sales and marketing activations. You will use a broad variety of marketing initiatives that will increase conversions, improve brand awareness, boost revenue, and establish Ocean Sonics as an industry leader.
Ocean Sonics has an array of exciting projects and initiatives on the horizon, and we are looking for the right digital media guru to help us execute them. You will be responsible for helping us tell the world (and company) the story of our product. You will be expected to spearhead the insights and analytics for all of Ocean Sonics’ digital presence.

Specific responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy
• Support content marketing strategies of new and existing products
• Maintain and update website (uses WordPress) and SEO
• Pull campaign data to create reporting dashboards using Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
• Track and analyze patterns in website traffic to gain insights into user behaviour and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics that will assist in assessing the effectiveness of marketing & social media campaigns
• Create innovative content and publish via channels such as social media, blogs, websites, press releases, presentations, print publication, brochures etc.
Requirements:
• Business or Digital Media degree or diploma with a major in Marketing
• Strong social media skills
• Google Data Analytics Certificate
• Understanding of Google Tag Manager
• Understanding of WordPress
• Understanding of SEO optimization
• Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Successfully establish and maintain relationships with peers and team members
• Enjoy working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity
• Language and cultural understandings are an asset when delivering messages to different cultures
