Documenting and
reviewing the tested data

Determining whether
sample parameters fall within normal ranges and identifying
abnormalities

Conserves laboratory
resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to
accomplish job results

Provide medical
technology information by answering questions and requests
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree
in medical technology, clinical laboratory science,
or a relevant field
-
2-4 years of
experience as a medical technologist
-
Ability to use
complex medical equipment
-
Certificate to work
as a medical technician
-
Advanced knowledge of
biology and chemistry
-
Proficiency in
electronic health record management systems, such as AdvancedMD
and eClinicalWorks
-
Strong interpersonal,
verbal, and written communication skills
-
Proficiency in
inventorizing supplies and maintaining laboratory equipment
