A construction company is recruiting for a Project Manager / Estimator in the Construction Industry.

Specializing in Water & Fire Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Asbestos Abatement, Biohazard Cleanup, and Emergency Mitigation.

Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities of the Estimator/Project Manager:
Project Construction Coordination and Management
· Review the project’s specs carefully to ensure accurate scheduling and costing
· Ability to read blueprints and provide accurate drawings, scope of work and instructions to the Construction Manager and/or the Technician crews
· Oversee all onsite and offsite construction progress to ensure compliance with building and safety standards.
· Review the work-in-progress of the projects on a daily basis
· Meet contractual conditions of performance
· Draft contracts and agreements, negotiate terms and obtain licenses and permits as needed
· Client liaison - Ensure constant communication with the Client and all parties involved throughout the project
· Maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client
· Able to analyze, manage and mitigate risks
· Attend site meetings and prepare/submit tenders
· Ability to generate new leads with profitable income results
· Maintain business development relationships and records
· Prepare budgets and internal/external quality reports
· Prepare and approve Work Orders / Purchase Orders daily
· Plan ahead to avoid deficiencies and resolve any emerging ones
· Attend business functions, luncheons, trade-shows as needed
 
 
Qualifications
Xactimate Experience
Relevant Construction Background and/or Design/Build experience
· Proven industry experience [Flood/Fire/Wind/Mold - Emergency Response and Rebuild]
· Good knowledge on building materials, construction products and details, construction regulations and quality standards
· Advanced knowledge of construction techniques and methods
· Strong sales, leadership and negotiating skills
· Excellent Time Management and Project Management skills
· Ability to multitask and oversee/manage a number of projects under pressure/tight deadlines and with little to no supervision.
