Job Description

The Discovery Internship Program will enable you to discover the most trusted sustainability intelligence platform and see how the different teams are working together in a  truly CSR business environment. Position Description 

We are looking for a proactive intern to join our Sales Development & Marketing Teams for a 4-month internship. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lead generation, event coordination, digital marketing, and market research, while working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities - Sales Development Support:

• Assist in reviewing and qualifying inbound leads to identify potential business opportunities.
• Support prospecting and outreach campaigns, ensuring effective engagement with target accounts.
• Conduct market research to develop and refine target account lists for sales initiatives.
• Manage and analyze data to derive insights that improve sales strategies.
   

Key Responsibilities - Marketing:

• Support the planning and execution of EcoVadis events and webinars.
• Assist in third-party event coordination, ensuring successful participation and follow-up.
• Conduct competitive and thought leadership research, providing insights for market positioning.
• Qualify unassigned marketing leads, contributing to an effective lead pipeline.

Qualifications

• Current University Student: Eligible for an on-site internship with the ability to establish an internship agreement.
• Strong Written & Verbal Communication: Ability to craft compelling messages for outreach, marketing content, and sales interactions.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and ensuring accuracy in execution.
• Technology & Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and data analysis tools.
• Time Management & Prioritization: Ability to balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Analytical & Research Skills: Interested in data analysis and deriving actionable insights for sales and marketing strategies.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. 

Additional Information

• Location: Toronto
• Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
• You must be living and studying in the location advertised
• Office attendance is expected
