Job Description

Our client is looking for senior application developer to be part of the technical development team to build a new solution to replace a mainframe registry system and renew the business processes.

Qualifications

Required Skills

-Experience writing, modifying, integrating and testing software code.

-Experience identifying and communicating technical problems, processes and solutions

-Experience using user requirements in code development and defect resolution.

-Demonstrated experience developing, building, testing, and deploying solution components using all of the following: C#, .Net Framework, IIS, Visual Studio, MVC, and Entity Framework.

-Demonstrated experience developing .Net WCF Web Services, or ASP. NET Web API.

-Demonstrated experience developing solution components that access SQL Server databases.

-Demonstrated experience designing and developing web-based user interfaces for .Net solution components.

-Demonstrated experience developing solution components using all of the following: HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript Framework (Twitter Bootstrap, Knockout, Kendo UI).

-Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Services or similar products for version control, task management, builds.

Desirable Skills

-Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft BizTalk.

-Experience with land registry related solution components.

-Demonstrated experience with solutions components related to the display, query, and manipulation of spatial data.

-Demonstrated experience with mainframe integration tools (e.g. Verastream Host Integration).

-Demonstrated experience with Rational Unified Process / Unified Process and/or other methodologies.

-Demonstrated experience with creating and refining related UML artifacts – class models, communication diagrams, and sequence/interaction diagrams.
