Job Description

Interested in working in the music industry, developing solutions to be used by high-profile clients? LyricFind has an opening for a talented and driven full stack software developer looking to be a part of this exciting sector.

You will be part of a growing development team involved in all stages of product development—from planning and design all the way to testing and deployment. Particulars

• Full-time hybrid
• Must work from Toronto office located at Yonge & Eglinton
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend services, APIs and Spring Boot applications using Java
• Create dynamic front-end applications primarily in React, TypeScript, and Redux
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing codebases
• Review code changes, participate in design discussions, and work closely with cross-functional teams
• Write and maintain technical documentation for your code and processes

Skills

• Experience with object-oriented development using Java (preferred), C# or similar languages
• Proficiency with React and JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
• Familiarity with Redux or similar state management libraries
• Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices
• Able to switch between projects and tasks as needed
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Good to Have

• Basic familiarity with SQL for data management

• Experience with build tools, containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and testing frameworks

Salary

• $85,000 per year
