About the opportunity:

Best Way Stone is looking for an energetic, positive and team-oriented Summer Customer Service & Operations Support to join our Uxbridge team. This role supports both customer service and yard/marketing operations – helping customers with inquiries and orders, providing in-office support, assembling display racks, picking/packing materials, and assisting with order fulfillment. Acting as a key liaison between Best Way Stone and our ever-evolving customer base, this position plays an important role in creating a smooth and positive experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in progress.
  • Demonstrated prior customer service or related experience
  • Previous outdoor labour or warehouse experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both oral and written, is an asset.
  • Ability to use basic math skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in both office and yard settings.
  • Physically capable of lifting, assembling displays and packing materials.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

  • Willingness to support marketing and operational tasks as needed.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

  • Provide friendly, helpful service to ensure a positive customer experience. 
  • Enter purchase orders, confirming order dates, taking phone orders and entering phone and fax orders into the computer system.
  • Assemble display racks and assist with updates at dealer yards. 
  • Monitor materials for rack assembly and flag any stock shortages. 
  • Pick and pack products accurately based on order requirements. 
  • Keep work areas and yard clean, safe and well-organized. 
  • Perform tractor-trailer checks to ensure load accuracy before delivery. 
  • Be responsive and timely, and display a caring attitude
  • Answer or find the answers to customer questions 
  • Process all cash and credit card transactions. 
  • Assist with completion of special projects as needed and assigned.

This is a seasonal position from May-September. This position will require Saturday hours as well.
