The Opportunity: Join BentallGreenOak as a Maintenance Technician for LloydMall in Lloydminster. The primary responsibilities of this role are the day-to-day maintenance and general up-keep of the grounds and building(s), including preventative maintenance programs. You will also provide guidance and problem solving to contracted employees to ensure the efficient and cost-effective completion of repairs and maintenance. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 6:30am to 3pm daily. Inclement weather may require you to start work earlier or end later.

 

What You Will Do:

          Oversee general tidiness of property (75% exterior & 25% interior) and assisting contracted staff with seasonal duties including landscaping, mowing, snow, and garbage removal. Daily pickup of garbage, cardboard, and recycling. Plan, prioritize, perform and monitor preventative maintenance, including: painting, plumbing and other minor repairs as required. Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner. Perform daily inspections of the property (internal/external). Assist with the set-up and take-down of promotional events. This role requires you to work outdoors during different weather conditions.

          To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Maintenance experience in a commercial or retail building. Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards and WHMIS. A basic First Aid Certificate is an asset. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform work on ladders. A valid driver’s license with no infractions.
