Position Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will report to Director, Human Resources and support assigned business clients/leaders meet their staffing targets as well as lead full-cycle recruitment.

This is a temporary 12 months contract.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Leads full-cycle recruitment; attraction, sourcing, selection and onboarding.
  • Partners with hiring manager on approach, setting and managing expectations as per the plan.
  • Develops recruitment strategies based on each business group's human capital management plans.
  • Develops career paths in working with Human Resource Business Partners.
  • Performs phone screens, shortlisting of candidates, assessments & interviews. Leads the offer process.
  • Researches, plans & implements methods and partnerships for identifying suitable applicants.
  • Provides direction on recruitment practices and initiatives (e.g., social media, advertising/branding, diversity outreach, career events)
  • Plans and participates in various career events.
  • Builds strong relationships with business areas to fully understand the business environment, goals and challenges.
  • Reporting monthly progress to management team and hiring manager for the review and forecasting.
  • Maintain documentation of all the new employees and categories them according to requirement.
  • Issuing letters to the new hire.
  • Assists with organizational planning and maintains accurate reporting & analytics related to talent attraction, engagement & retention.
  • Uses HR data analytics to make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience is required
  • University degree is required
  • Experience administrating formal assessments tools would be an asset

  • Experience with bulk recruitment projects would be an asset
  • Expert level knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components
  • Experience in sourcing strategies including proactive sourcing techniques using social media, different job boards (Indeed, Glassdoor) and referral generation
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills experience
  • Proven ability to work independently as well perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
  • Strong data analytical skills including analyzing data and developing recommendations for process improvement
  • Experience with HR systems and tools as well as high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
