The Talent & Culture Coordinator supports the Talent & Culture team in administering HR policies, procedures, and initiatives. This role involves assisting with HR projects, talent management, employee engagement, and recruitment support. The coordinator works closely with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Laurentide’s values.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

HR Support & Administration

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of talent, culture, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs related to performance management, culture, pay equity, and other business needs.
  • Contributes to the preparation and revision of talent, culture, and HR-related publications and communications.
  • Maintain HR records and assist with generating HR reports as needed.

Employee Relations & Talent Development

  • Support managers by providing resources and guidance on talent management and employee development.
  • Participate in gathering employee feedback through surveys and regular follow-ups.
  • Assist in coordinating training and development activities in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.

Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture

  • Help organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, including social events, wellness programs, and recognition activities.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Laurentide’s values.
  • Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Other duties are required in support of the Talent and Culture team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • University or college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or employee engagement.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva (an asset), and HR systems (an asset).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

WORK LOCATION: Kirkland, QC (Hybrid)
