Primary Purpose
As an advanced developer with solid, pixel-perfect HTML/CSS skills, you will be responsible for supporting our clients’ experimentation activities by building test variations, and providing split testing and web analytics technical implementation with the support of the Web Development Manger..

What You Have
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications, but we're looking for the right candidate so don't be shy if you don't check every box
- Post secondary school degree, preferably in Computer Science.
- 3+ years with front end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- 3+ years with back end technologies: MySQL, PHP and Laravel
- Experience with building web applications.
- An Agile/Scrum and test-driven LAMP stack developer with a 3+ years of experience in an agency or startup environment.
- Knowledge on testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, etc.
Accountabilities
- Support Conversion’s A/B testing projects by developing across the entire client web stack from front-end to back-end services.
- Provide client & server side development services across multiple projects
- Oversee and conduct final reviews to ensure experiments design are being followed and follow coding standard and practices
- Experience with a server side programming language such as Ruby on Rails, Node/Express, PHP/Laravel, any MVC web frameworks, etc…
- Experience with Javascript and any library or framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Knowledge in server administration skills (Apache, Nginx, MySQL on Linux environment like Ubuntu or Debian)
- Familiar with RESTful Services and APIs
- Familiar with cloud services such as AWS, DigitalOcean, etc..
- Familiar with developing unit and integration tests for various projects using frameworks such as PhpUnit, Mocha, Jasmine, etc.
- Proficient use of GIT version control
- Staying up to date with releases and updates from A/B testing tools such as Optimizely Client-side, Optimizely Server-side, VWO, Test&Target, Google Optimize, etc. that would impact how the Development Team works with clients.
- Perform a technical evaluation to determine if the testing scripts will impact on any existing coding.
- Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship to Conversion’s development team to support continuous skill development.
- Training team members on delivery workflow, processes and best practices including A/B Testing tools like Optimizely, VWO, Target, GO, etc..
- Support internal project management for the Development Team, including maintaining CLI, template code, library, etc..
- Working with team leads (Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Operations, People) to provide technical input and support, as needed
- Support Delivery team in weekly call to answer any technical issue from clients
- Assisting with the hiring process for Conversion. This includes reviewing technical exercises and interviewing applicants, as needed
- Support Conversions Marketing team by participating in webinars and other various marketing projects, as needed.
- Assist the Web Development Manager to oversee development projects and manage Jira, as needed.
- Working as a member of a larger team and collaborating effectively with others in your function (developers) as well as cross functionally (designers, project managers, consultants, and clients) to support each other, achieve the best outcomes, and win as a team

Pay range - The typical hiring range for this role is $58,000 - $75,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to our compensation philosophy, internal equity, and comes with a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. Base pay will be determined based on role-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
