Yard Operator

The Yard Operator is responsible for ensuring the distribution center yard is well presented and safe at all times. You will be operating a forklift to load and unload our landscape products onto customer vehicles with a positive and professional attitude. This position is a full-time seasonal position.

What will YOU be doing as Yard Operator? 

• Loading and unloading landscape products onto customer vehicles.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day yard inventory and products.
• Responsible for ensuring yard area is kept tidy, well presented, and safe at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

What YOU bring to the table 

• Experience with forklift or machinery operations.
• Forklift certification/training an asset.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Detail oriented, flexible and team player.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors.

Our season runs to mid-November, weather dependent. 

Compensation is $19.00 hourly rate.
