Position Title: Administrator, Inside Sales & Marketing

Position Overview

The Administrator, Sales & Marketing plays an integral role in supporting our Inside Sales and Marketing Teams as well as the Planner, Summer Sales & Product, to enable them to focus on providing exceptional guest experiences. This dynamic position combines administrative expertise with strategic support to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our sales and marketing activities. This cross-functional support role works across various systems, and the successful candidate will be confident in their computer skills and ability to prioritize tasks. The successful candidate will be an integral connection between Manager, Inside Sales and Senior Manager, Marketing Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Inside Sales Team with workload management and outbound sales efforts
  • Manage the CMH trip waitlists.
  • Assist in documenting action items for all trip changes, tracking booking numbers and ensuring all follow-up actions are completed promptly.
  • Assign follow-up tasks to other team members for post-trip follow-up.
  • Assist with addressing guest feedback and feedback distribution within the business.
  • Work with Guest Services, Marketing and Operations Teams to facilitate clear communication and collaboration, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Attend meetings to assist with documenting action items and follow ups.
  • Support the administrative side of the Summer Adventures program.
  • General vendor management support including system setups, contract administration, invoice processing and expense management.
  • Inventory management and distribution of sales & marketing materials and assets.
  • Support the departments with event and travel logistics including airfare and accommodations.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of our business to effectively articulate the CMH value and differentiate our product from other operators.
  • General Banff office administrative support as assigned.
  • Help support implementation of CMH health and safety initiatives.
  • Help support implementation of CMH sustainability initiatives.
  • Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.
  • Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional office setting.
  • Experience in a sales role, preferred.
  • Experience in the ski industry, preferred.

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as an ability to learn other relevant software platforms.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment with seasonal workload fluctuations and changing priorities.
  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.
  • Trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.
  • Sees projects through to completion including follow-up on any identified issues.
  • Strong sense of work ethic and accountability, with an ability to function well in a team environment and focus on team success.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks, responsibilities, and goals; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans.

Working Conditions

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
  • This position is required, at times, to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. 
  • This position may require occasional travel to CMH areas, as well as some travel to industry functions on an occasional basis.
