Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering (or related) undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university, completion of relevant coursework in structural or bridge engineering, and a strong academic record demonstrating understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of structural analysis principles and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in bridge design, analysis, and construction; coursework or projects related to structural mechanics, materials, or bridge engineering; familiarity with bridge design codes and standards (e.g., Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code); and exposure to structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, Midas Civil) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
