Our client, a friendly and well established midsize law firm located in the downtown core is actively seeking an experiencedΒ Corporate Law Clerk with 5+ years of experience to primarily support a partner.
Responsibilities will include law clerk duties related to incorporations and organization, acquisitions, tax reorganizations,Β financings, maintaining corporate records and annual minutes, due diligence support and transactional closing support, including the preparation of closing agendas, closing documents and record books. Experience in securities would be considered an asset but is not a requirement.
The successful candidate will be team oriented, enthusiastic, and a self-driven individual. They will also be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, take initiative and be a good communicator with excellent oral and written skills.
