Join Marqeta’s dynamic Credit Operations team as a Senior Analyst, Special Servicing and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our credit operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual eager to gain hands-on credit experience while contributing to the development of Marqeta’s growing credit program. As a Senior Analyst in Special Servicing, you will support all aspects of our customer-facing credit operations. You’ll manage a variety of daily credit activities while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service, Fraud, Collections, and Product. This role offers a chance to make a tangible impact, develop a deep understanding of credit processes, and help build and scale Marqeta’s credit program.

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Toronto or Vancouver Canada. We’d love for you to join us!

The Impact You’ll Have

  • Responsible for the day to day management of special servicing cases for the credit program, including engagement with cross functional stakeholders both internal and external 
  • Support the daily operations of Marqeta’s credit servicing function, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in building and refining credit operational  processes, policies, and tools to support a growing portfolio.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to inform decision-making.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in credit operations, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting back end processes in a highly regulated environment with tight timelines
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including a sharp attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for building and improving processes.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience working in Salesforce
  • Experience with Reg Z, Reg F, and FCRA
  • Familiarity with credit, fraud, and collections

Compensation and Benefits

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD,  is: 89,600 -112,000
