The Role:

The Customer Service Agent is responsible for attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services and is responsible for processing orders, preparing correspondence and fulfilling customer needs to ensure they are satisfied.

 

Daily Responsibilities Include:

 

      Greet customers with a smile and assist at rental and return.

      Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards all customers at all times.

      Offer products and services using positive selling techniques and dialogue.

      Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.

      Provide customers with clear, concise directions.

      Inspect vehicle with customer at rental and return.

      Solicit customer feedback on vehicle and experience at return.

      Handle customer complaints both in person and over the phone.

      Be up-to-date on the industry as well as being aware of competitors influence and performance.

      Maintain a neat and organized work space.

 

Your Skills & Experience:

 

      Must have an extremely positive attitude and provide references to speak to your customer service experience.

      Must have a strong and demonstrated customer service acumen.

      Must have the ability to motivate, inspire and recommend products to prospective customers in a friendly, approachable and genuine way.

      Must have a demonstrated proficiency with computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

      Must have a class 5 BC drivers license.

      Experience in car & truck rental industry considered an asset but not required.

      Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a team.
