Engineering Manager

Position Title:      Engineering Manager

Location:              Windsor

Reports To:          Site Leader

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct engineering staff to address the prioritized needs of the organization
• Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications
• Create and improve shop travellers/routers
• Manages engineering and process improvement projects
• Manages software control
• Provide evaluation and disposition of discrepant material
• Technical liaison with customer engineering and quality personnel
• Manages Capital Projects

Selection Criteria

• BS in Engineering
• MS in Engineering or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering management experience; prefer that experience in the aerospace industry
• Familiarity with specifications, blueprints and requirements for aerospace component manufacturing that includes having knowledge of aerospace welding, coatings, heat treatment, machining and sheet metal fabrications
• Documented formal process improvement experience;
• Knowledge of CNC machining
• Works well with people; good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift 40 pounds. Must pass pre-employment references and background check.
