DescriptionThe IP Routing Hardware organization is very flat - there are few levels of management between the Individual Contributor and the VP of Hardware. We are also very lean - each FPGA Engineer spends more time doing engineering work and less time on overhead. As a result, your work has high visibility and your decisions directly impact product strategy and product design.
ResponsibilitiesAs an FPGA Engineer, you will:
- Design complex FPGAs used in embedded telecom applications
- Write simulation testbench and test cases to verify FPGA operation
- Work with digital hardware engineers to implement requirements and debug lab issues
QualificationsYou have:
- Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of experience performing FPGA design and verification
- Coding experience with VHDL or the ability to transition quickly from Verilog
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently to solve problems
It would be nice if you also have:
- Working knowledge of FPGA design tools from AMD-Xilinx, Intel-Altera, and Lattice
- A proven ability to navigate and ramp up on large code repositories
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
