WSP is currently seeking highly motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 12 years experience. You will work closely with our professionals, collaborate with industry experts, and work on various projects throughout Ontario and potentially across the country.

A day in the life…
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Manage site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and geotechnical analysis.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, designs, and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Stay current with advancements in geotechnical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into projects.
What you'll bring to WSP…
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Registered or immediately eligible for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant (post-degree) working experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on consulting and/or project management.
- Strong technical knowledge in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
- Strong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- An Ontario Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Sense of initiative, attention to detail & team spirit.
