Key Responsibilities
As an Insurance Producer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the companyโ€™s growth by building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and outreach efforts.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Insurance Sales & Consultation:

    • Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance products, including personal, commercial, and specialty lines.
    • Prepare and present insurance quotes and proposals, effectively communicating policy terms and benefits.
  • Policy Management & Compliance:

    • Oversee the preparation and processing of insurance applications, renewals, and endorsements.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies throughout the sales and servicing process.
  • Team Collaboration & Market Insights:

    • Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to secure optimal coverage terms for clients.
    • Stay informed on market trends, new insurance products, and competitor offerings to provide value-driven solutions.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset).
    • A level II general insurance license in British Columbia
    • 5+ year of experience in the insurance industry, with 2+ years in commercial insurance
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in insurance software platforms and CRM tools.
    • Strong understanding of personal and commercial insurance products and services.
  • Key Competencies:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport.
    • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in client records and policy documentation.
