About Us
City Build Recruitment is working with a leading architecture and urban design firm specializing in transit-oriented communities (TOC) and large-scale residential projects. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, our client delivers world-class solutions that enhance connectivity and urban living.
As their Toronto studio grows, they are seeking an Intermediate Architect/Designer to contribute to the design and delivery of high-profile projects across Canada.
Role Overview
The Intermediate Architect/Designer will play a key role in the design development, coordination, and execution of residential and transit-oriented projects. This position requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to design development and project coordination from concept through construction.
  • Take design initiative while working closely with the Project Architect and stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, diagrams, and presentations using Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of technical and sustainability considerations.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Support senior project architects in technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch) and eligible for OAA registration.
  • 5+ years of experience in transit-oriented communities (TOC) and large-scale residential projects (mandatory).
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with BIM workflows and project coordination.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
