The Opportunity:

The IT Advisor, HR Business Relationship Management serves as a strategic interface between the IT department and HR teams, ensuring that IT services and solutions align with HR goals. The IT Advisor is responsible for understanding HR needs, driving HR initiatives that deliver value, and fostering a strong partnership between IT and the HR function. The BRM will provide ongoing support and ensure alignment with the Corporate Function IT Business Partner.

What you can expect to do here:

 

Relationship Management: 

Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the HR organization, acting as a trusted advisor on IT-related matters. 

Understand HR and IT strategies, goals, and challenges. 

Demand Management: 

Support the management of HR demands, service escalations, and executive engagement. 

Leverage and advocate for the demand management process that captures, evaluates, and prioritizes technology investments from across the HR organization. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

Communicate the value and impact of IT services to HR stakeholders, enhancing understanding and support for HR initiatives. 

Requirements Gathering: 

Drive HR requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization for each new initiative, translating HR needs into requirements. 

Coordinate requirements gathering from every region when applicable. 

Change Management: 

Support change management efforts related to HR initiatives enabled by IT, ensuring smooth transition and high adoption rates. 

Collaborate with Regional IT Business Partners to ensure visibility on global initiatives. 

Governance and Compliance: 

Ensure HR initiatives comply with global IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. 

Performance Management: 

Ensure each HR initiative that gets to the delivery stage has a strong business case. 

Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) that link IT service delivery and project outcomes with HR performance objectives. 

 

 

What you’ll bring to WSP:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. 
  • 5+ years of specialization as a BRM or Business Analyst or related role, preferably within HR 
  • Proficient in strategic business partnering with a passion for developing relationships. 
  • Strong customer awareness and a proven track record of ensuring stakeholder inclusivity. 
  • Ability to quickly gain the confidence of the HR team and colleagues through excellent communication and influencing skills. 
  • Proven experience in IT business relationship management and IT service delivery. 
  • Strong understanding of IT organization. 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of articulating the value of technology investments in terms of HR outcomes. 
  • Experience with project management methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and risk management. 
  • Ability to translate HR needs into technical requirements. 
  • Ability to build a strong business case. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or BRMP are preferred
