We are looking for a Marketing & Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business growth for various projects. This role involves content creation, audience engagement, campaign management, performance tracking, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with business goals.
  • Identify target audiences, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

 

Content Creation & Engagement

  • Develop high-quality content (text, images, videos, graphics) tailored to different platforms.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently.
  • Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community interactions.
  • Foster relationships with influencers and brand advocates.

Campaign Management & Advertising

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (social media, digital, email, print).
  • Run and optimize paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Manage product launches and promotional activities.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor key metrics (engagement, impressions, conversions, ROI).
  • Analyze data to refine marketing and content strategies.
  • Generate reports to assess campaign effectiveness.

Brand Management & Innovation

  • Maintain and strengthen brand identity and positioning.
  • Experiment with new content formats and platform features.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure creative alignment across all branding materials.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work with marketing, design, and sales teams to align initiatives.
  • Coordinate partnerships with influencers, agencies, and vendors.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.

 

Skills Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, grammar & editorial skills
  • Advanced social media competency from postings to creative best practices and analytics
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Business acumen with the ability to interpret and analyze data to derive actionable insights
  • Attention to detail and eye for design
  • Knowledge of the latest marketing best-practices and landscape, including digital, paid media, earned media/PR, content, website, email, and social media platforms
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Creativity in content and campaign development.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, CRM software).
  • Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Budget management and ROI analysis skills.
  • Passion for learning and staying ahead of trends.

Work Conditions:

  • This position has a full-time, 40hr/week requirement
  • This position works 8hr shifts, Monday to Friday (5 x 2)

 

Location:  St. Albert, AB (on-site)
