Key Responsibilities

As the Personal Lines Insurance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored insurance solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Consultation and Policy Development:

    • Engage with clients to assess their personal insurance needs, providing expert advice on suitable coverage options.
    • Develop and present personalized insurance policies that align with clients' requirements and financial considerations.
  • Policy Management and Client Support:

    • Oversee the administration of new policies, renewals, and adjustments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
    • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, processing claims, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify opportunities to expand the client base through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
    • Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence required, Level 2 preferred.
    • 2-3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Key Competencies:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
    • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify client needs and offer tailored solutions.
