POSITION: Security Account Manager

TYPE: Full time
LOCATION: Acheson, Alberta 
PAY: $21.00 - $23.00 / per hour
SHIFT: Monday to Friday - 0600 -1400 

OVERVIEW

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for security and team development? Join our team as a Security Account Manager and take charge of the day-to-day operations of an assigned account. You'll be responsible for managing and developing security personnel, building strong relationships with clients and employees, and ensuring the highest standards of service. This role offers the opportunity to exceed goals while providing exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Leadership & Management: Supervise daily security operations at the client site, managing a team of security officers and supervisors. This includes hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees, ensuring high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Operational Excellence: Coordinate support services to ensure operational goals are met. Handle escalated security issues and emergency situations with professionalism.
• Staff Development: Develop staff through performance management, including coaching, counselling, and training. Ensure employee grievances are resolved and personnel records are up-to-date.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients and staff, ensuring policies, company announcements, and job openings are consistently updated.
• Training & Compliance: Conduct site-specific and annual refresher training for security personnel. Ensure compliance with corporate training standards and maintain operational procedures.
• Customer Satisfaction: Proactively communicate with clients to meet their needs, providing security and technical expertise to ensure complete satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Alberta security guard licence.
• College diploma in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of two years of experience in business management, operations, or supervisory roles.
• Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.
• Strong ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented management environment.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
