About the Team & Business Line: 

Proprietary software solutions and innovation are at the core of what differentiates Citco in the alternative investment space. As a core member of our Private Equity IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that are responsible for the development and support of IT applications. The candidate will interact closely with PE IT team and business analysts, as well as QA team and other technical groups and resources within Citco.

This position reports to the Private Equity IT Manager.



Responsibilities

Your Role: 

The primary responsibility of this position is to work on Citco’s strategic financial application for the private equity business team.

  • You will code and develop applications in SQL and .NET directly for SunGard Investran and its integrated applications.
  • Provide day-to-day application support and maintenance on the SunGard Investran Application and integrated applications
  • Resolve escalated application bugs and issues


Qualifications

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. 
  • 6+ years of professional programming experience developing applications using C# and other .NET technologies, including VSTO, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Services and SQL Server technologies, including SSRS and SSIS
  • Experience with MS SQL optimization and SQL Server performance tuning
  • Experience with continuous integration frameworks and processes, test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing environments
  • Knowledge of Agile development best practices and experience with project management tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
  • Demonstrated team player, self-starter and independent thinker with good communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in debugging data related issues in a fast-paced environment for business
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to carry out detailed technical work (development and support)
  • Ability to work under demanding, fast paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations 
  • The following skills are a plus:
  • Managing team members
  • Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting FIS Investran solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the Investran data model, Accounting and reporting hierarchies, transaction types, batch templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility and Report Wizard
  • Working knowledge of the Investran SDK and API
  • Experience with workflow-based applications
  • Experience of systems integration, web service and ETL development
  • Adaptive to change and feedback from team members
