Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Analyst to join our team, combining operational expertise with sharp analytical skills. In this role, you will monitor full-container dispatch operations, ensuring strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). You will be responsible for tracking vendor performance, identifying deviations, and proactively addressing gaps to maintain service continuity.

Beyond day-to-day logistics oversight, you will generate weekly performance reports and scorecards, providing data-driven insights to support process improvements. Your strong communication and problem-solving abilities will be key in collaborating with internal teams, engaging with vendors, and building productive relationships with strategic partners.

Level of Responsibility

Qualifications

Key Tasks

  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatched activities, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in generating weekly performance reports & scorecards on full trucking movements.
  • Monitor vendor performance data to ensure compliance with contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively engage with vendors to address performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to escalate unresolved issues and ensure service continuity.
  • Assist the accounting/finance department to review & approve invoices associated with trucking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to address issues and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Skills / Experience

  • 2 years of experience working in a trucking/logistics environment, or as a data analyst in a related industry
  • University education required in Business Administration, Logistics, or supply chain management
  • Great stakeholder management skills and capacity to drive results through collaborative work
  • Effective communication & strong interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (French & English) required
  • A commitment to diligence and a proactive approach to work
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft, SQL, and Excel skills with an ability to expand capabilities
